Rescue / Rehabilitation / Reintegration
- Social workers from the Centre identify children ages 7 to 8 for admission to the Centre's residential facility.
- The children stay at the Centre's ten acre facility during the week.
- The children stay with a parent or guardian in their home communities on the weekends.
- The children receive non-formal education at the Centre to prepare them for enrollment in a formal school that is within walking distance.
- The children are then enrolled in a local primary school.
- Prior to the completion of primary school, each student is reintegrated full time to living with his or her family.
